Dogs love to walk! Give them the gift of fun, variety and anticipation of an exciting event during their long and often lonely day.
Thirty minutes of fun filled exercise is a minimum. If we are having a great time or trying out a new or different route walks will be longer at no extra charge.
Doggy Day Care including walks: Drop off 7am (earliest) pick up 7pm (latest): $24.20
Regular weekly dog walking: $13.20 (30 mins)
Ad Hoc dog walking (24 hours notice required): $16.50 (30 mins)
'Only dog' walking, for dogs who have difficulty getting on with other dogs: $20 (30 mins)
Puppy or Old Aged Pooch walking/visiting: $13.20 (30 minute visit)
Your dog will be walked through the beautiful highways and byways of Springthorpe, Lancaster gate area or locally in Macleod.
Please note that, to keep standards high, I operate in a boutique area of Macleod - sometimes the Macleod side of Bundoora (to Grimshaw Street), Watsonia west of the railway, northern Heidelberg Heights, and the Macleod side of Rosanna around the Parklands. I do not operate as far as Greensborough, Mill Park or Reservoir.
We always ensure that dogs visit a mix of environments on walks including streetscapes, reserve and nature areas, parks, and, where possible, water.
Dogs are walked according to physical ability and need, and may be matched with a dog of similar physical ability and requirement.
For instance my 'Old Aged Pooches' enjoy a relaxed amble with plenty of sniffing at a slow pace, but younger larger dogs may enjoy a run through the reserve or to the pond and a paddle, along with exploration of wonderful local sights and sounds.
Walking gives your home alone dog something to look forward to in their day, may reduce visits to the vet by keeping them physically fit, and can keep their claws shorter - less vet visits for nail clipping.
