We are unique pet carers....

We operate only in Springthorpe, Lancaster Gate and the immediate surrounds, so we're local to you and your pets.

You can call on us short notice subject to availability, or if you're already registered with us and have an emergency or delay you can call and we'll make sure your pet is cared for in your absence (fees apply).

We offer an unique personal service. Friendly, reliable and mad about animals we give your pet excitement and affection during their day.

Your pet loves you and may suffer from feelings of loneliness and abandonment whilst you're away. This can often manifest itself in noisy or destructive behaviours that might upset and bother you or your neighbours.

Hershey's Friends" can provide light relief during the day, from snuggling with a cat, puppy, or 'old aged pooch' to a fun and exciting walk with a dog.

We are non franchise, fully insured, police checked and a member of ANZ Petsit (see below).

Additionally we are mature and reliable and offer an excellent standard of service at a very reasonable cost.

Your pet is precious to you, don't use any pet sitter or dog walker that offers anything less that this!

What is required of anzpetsit members?

The following are the professional standards set for all Pet Sitters who are members of the Australia and New Zealand Professional Pet Sitting Organisation (anzpetsit). All pet sitters who desire to be an anzpetsit member must meet these criteria prior to being accepted.

Once membership is granted, the member is required to abide by the anzpetsit Code of Conduct and the anzpetsit Quality Standards.

Required Criteria for Membership

  1. The business must hold a current public liability insurance policy.

  2. Owners and staff members must possess current police clearance (not more than 2 years old) or security clearance for larger professionals. Click here for details on how to obtain a police clearance certificate.

  3. Each member must be a genuine animal lover and demonstrate an interest in promoting professional pet sitting as a rewarding career.
